Greater power of paint to completely cover surface

High quality paint is often much creamier and thicker in texture and gives better coverage than cheaper paint which tends to be thinner.
This means that whatever your job, you'll have to go over the surface area less often, and if you need to go over a strong, darker colour the higher quality paint will give you the confidence that it will take fewer coats of paint to prevent the base colour showing through.

All in all: Less work, less hassle, better results.

Where is good coverage really important?: for all paint jobs, basically, but especially those where you're going to have to cover a large surface area such as the walls and ceilings of any room; and the areas where you paint skirting or trim.

What is the benefit of good coverage? Saves you hours of work continually repainting the same surface and you get a better finish as you don’t overpaint an area you’ve just tackled.
