When do I use a natural bristle brush, as opposed to a synthetic bristle brush ? |

As a general rule of thumb : Natural bristle brushes should be used for solvent-based paints and stains, whereas polyester or Nylon bristle brushes are used for water-based products. Some polyester brushes are designed for use with both. |
