Strong colours are central to this trend –
a rich orange is both warm and exotic, and works well with rich, spicy reds or luscious pinks, but also earth-tones and terracotta. As a contrast colour, try offsetting with a shade of blue – a Japanese-style flower stencil is a real eye-catcher, and is easy
to do.
The chic palette of soft browns and orange painted in bold stripes, combined with the colonial-style table and bamboo dish all give this study room a sense of global inspiration, of travel.
A rich textural mix of earth-tones with accents in white lift the look of this stylish bedroom. Rich chocolate brown walls offset the floaty bed canopy reminiscent of a colonial style bedroom.
