Click on the small images to discover how to get this look.

Take a look at any 2004 paint chart and you will be struck by the myriad of greens on offer. The undisputed representative of mother nature, this versatile colour is not only easy to live with, but combines effortlessly with almost any other colour in the spectrum, making it the perfect choice for the home. This summer's shades range from the leafiest of greens to the darkest of olives, however, do not feel restricted to one choice, as varying tonal shades can easily be blended together. Just remember to keep it simple.

Lines should be uncluttered and pattern kept to a minimum, with just the odd check, stripe, or modern design. If you cannot find those all important accessories in your desired tones, simply paint existing items and ensure a perfect finish by priming surfaces before applying a good quality acrylic top coat. Complete the look with furnishings in white or subtle creams for a crisp, fresh finish, or add richer wood tones for an injection of sophistication, either way the look is always soft, clean and inviting.
