Introduce subtle
colour combinations with blocks of pink and charcoal grey,
and team with textures such as linens, wools and pale washed
woods for added interest. Update floors and accessories
with a lick of paint and avoid tell tale brush marks by
using quality products that are guaranteed to dry to a smooth,
even finish. |

Choose
the softest of pinks for walls and offset with crisp white,
cream and splashes of chrome. In bedrooms go for subtle
chalky finishes, whilst in harder working areas, such as
halls, opt for pure acrylic satins to give durability and
add the subtlest of sheens. |

Introduce
patterning in the form of bold simplistic images, such as
flower heads and leaves. Set this years accessories
against clean, simple lines. Alternatively, make it personal
with hand decorated fabrics or stencilled walls using match
pots or fabric paints. |
