Junk shop buys are given new life with a few coats of paint, but made to look worn and loved. Floors are left either bare or white-washed. Metal furniture is painted to keep with the light airy feel. Chalky pastel walls create a clean and crisp look.
Romantic and pretty, our homes look less formal. Fabrics drape in soft folds. Soft chalky pastels with a delicate floral reference decorate everything from walls to soft furnishings. Use stencils or stamps to adorn walls and furniture with delicate and faded pattern.
An eclectic mix of treasured objects beautifully displayed. Trinkets and a bejewelled lampshade sit happily side-by-side with a colour-washed chest-of-drawers, adding to the elegant mix.
