You don’t need to paint the whole room to give it a totally different feeling – making a bold statement on a feature wall can often be enough. Fuchsia, bold pinks, subtle shades of purple all work well when offset with ultra-cool stripes of contrasting hues. Challenging maybe, but sure to have an impact, and easy to do!
Dare to be different, use vibrant colour for the walls, and co-ordinate with multi-colour cushions and throws.
Alternatively, keep pattern to a minimum with bold blocks of colour, as here on storage boxes and a rug, whilst balancing the look with white painted walls.
