Thick textural, horizontal planking is the basis for this soothing scheme. The use of all natural materials such as stone flooring, rattan furniture and chunky woods in a variety of raw and muted tones adds a new dimension to what is in essence a mainly neutral palette.
Instantly update plain decor with touches of misty grey and lilac or heather tones. If revamping metal surfaces, such as a bath, use a paint that is rust resistant and prepare surfaces well using a good quality primer.
